MINIMUM SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE REQUIRED
xc3xa2xc2x96xc2xaaA proven track record in a production environment with a minimum of 5 years experience in a related Foreman / Supervisory position.A Diploma or equivalent; higher education such as an Associates Management, Industrial Engineering or related field is preferred.
xc3xa2xc2x96xc2xaaQualified Artisan: Fitter & Turner or Boilermaker
xc3xa2xc2x96xc2xaaThe ability to read drawings (Mechanical).
xc3xa2xc2x96xc2xaaProven track record of Shop floor experience.
xc3xa2xc2x96xc2xaaKnowledge of the OSH Act and experience in the administration of Safety, Health and Environmental requirements.
xc3xa2xc2x96xc2xaaKnowledge of current labour law and basic I.R. procedures.
xc3xa2xc2x96xc2xaaStrong knowledge of quality management.
xc3xa2xc2x96xc2xaaWelding experience required.
xc3xa2xc2x96xc2xaaComputer literate (particularly Excel) and knowledge of Syspro is a requirement.
xc3xa2xc2x96xc2xaaGood verbal and written English communication skills at all levels are essential.
xc3xa2xc2x96xc2xaaMust we willing and able to work, day and night shift.
xc3xa2xc2x96xc2xaaPrevious experience of setting of machinery is required, including CNC machines.
xc3xa2xc2x96xc2xaaExcellent cutting, drilling, tapping and welding knowledge is required with proven track record.
