Our client, a dynamic and growing company based in Paarden Eiland, is looking for a Website Administrator to join their vibrant marketing team.
In this role, you'll play a key part in keeping their website fresh, functional, and user-friendly, ensuring that online operations run smoothly and content stays up to date.
Requirements:
Matric
1 - 2 experiences in website administration or similar role
Understanding of CMS platforms (e.g., WordPress, Shopify, or similar)
Basic knowledge of HTML/CSS (advantageous)
Familiarity with SEO, Google Analytics, and digital marketing principles
Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail
Ability to multitask and meet deadlines
Duties and Responsibilities:
Creating, updating, and managing text, images, and other multimedia content on the website
Applying updates, patches, and upgrades to the website and its underlying software to ensure it runs smoothly and securely
Regularly monitoring the website's speed, availability, and overall performance to identify and resolve issues
Performing and testing regular backups of website data and files to prevent data loss
Implementing and maintaining security measures to protect the website from cyber threats and unauthorized access
Diagnosing and resolving technical issues and bugs to ensure a seamless user experience
Managing web servers and ensuring their configuration is optimal for website operations
Optimising website content and structure for search engines to improve visibility and rankings
Tracking and analysing website traffic and user engagement data using analytical tools to inform improvements
Ensuring the website is user-friendly, visually appealing, and provides a seamless online experience
Working with web developers, designers, and content writers to develop new features and ensure alignment with business goals
Creating and maintaining documentation for website changes, procedures, and configurations
* Staying up-to-date with industry trends, best practices, and changes in web development to recommend improvements.
