Job Description
Our clientxe2x80x8b is a multi-award winning partner of choice for, the private sector, state owned enterprises and governments. They are currently looking for a Water Design Engineer to join their team in Durban.
xe2x80x8bThe purpose of the job is to produce technical deliverables and lead a team of Engineers and Technicians in the design, procurement & contract administration of large scale multi-disciplinary infrastructure projects.
Responsibilities
- Design & documentation of projects involving the conveyance and treatment of both Water and Wastewater and associated technologies (e.g. water distribution, pump stations, pipelines and treatment plants)
- xe2x80x8bWork independently and review project technical deliverables
- Preparation of reports and presentations
- Relevant Tertiary Qualification (B Eng or B Tech)
- Pr Eng / Pr Tech Eng
- NQF 5 and/or 7 in labour intensive construction projects (an Advantage)
- 5 or more years with specific Municipal Infrastructure Design experience a pre-requisite
- Experience in both greenfield and brownfield projects
- Experience with GCC2015, SABS1200 & COLTO
- Competent with Civil Designer, Civil3D and AutoCAD
