Warehouse and Logistics Manager - Rosebank A professional, self-motivated individual must fill this vital position. The Warehouse & Logistics Manager will schedule all inbound/outbound shipments, provide leadership to our warehouse team and strive to keep transportation costs low. The successful candidate will also be responsible for prioritizing tasks to meet expected shipping dates and maintaining an accurate inventory. On the Warehouse side your job is responsible for overseeing the smooth running of the storage procedure, from the complicated storage logistics, to keeping an eye on the warehouse workers xe2x80x93 scheduling shifts and ensuring staff are adequately trained. Specific elements include: Processing orders Organising the dispatch and delivery of goods Ensuring goods are stored safely Keeping staff fully trained Maintaining health and safety standards Keeping accurate records Managing timesheets Stock control Storage planning Procurement activities Contract and overall supplier relationship management Distribution planning and managing waste removal and disposal Performance and risk management Manage an accurate inventory of warehouse materials Schedule and track inbound and outgoing shipments Recruit and train warehouse personnel Ensure materials and end products are delivered to relevant sites in a timely manner as per clientsxe2x80x99 criteria Maintain customer service logs and safety records Strategic inputs, development and implementations Financial management by improving cost to company of all inbound and outbound logistics operation Job Type: Full-time Salary: R750,000.00 - R850,000.00 per year Ability to commute/relocate: Rosebank, Gauteng: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required) Experience: Warehouse Management: 5 years (Required)
