DUTIES &
RESPONSIBILITES
Ensure that all company policies, procedures & SOPs are adhered to
Prepare dining area, including all necessary mise-en-place for service
Serve customers in a professional, efficient & courteous manner
Change table linen as required & ensure dirty or damaged linen is counted & exchanged for clean, presentable linen
Demonstrates a commitment to guest services by responding promptly to guests needs
Prepares in advance for the arrival of groups
Ensure that excellent customer service is delivered at all times
Set tables to laid down standards, ensuring that all items used are clean, undamaged & in a good condition
Ensure waiter serving stations are adequately stocked with replacement cutlery, linen or any other requirements
Prepare hot & cold beverages (alcoholic & non-alcoholic) as per company standards
Familiarise yourself with the menu
Clear tables to ensure they are cleaned as soon as customers have finished with a n acceptable balance between speed, yet allowing customers to finish their meal/drink without feeling rushed
Accurate recording food & beverage orders to ensure it is delivered & billed correctly
Continuously maintain the highest standards of hygiene within the property
Any other duties that may be required
