Virtual Cold Call Manager

to lead, train, and optimize our outbound calling team.

Position Overview

The Cold Call Manager will be responsible for overseeing a team of 4-7 virtual cold callers, ensuring KPIs are consistently met or exceeded. This role combines leadership, training, sales strategy, and operational management. The right candidate will have proven experience running a sales-focused call center (preferably B2B), be comfortable managing tech systems like HubSpot and auto-dialers, and know how to motivate and develop a team.

Key Responsibilities

Team Leadership & Management

Manage, coach, and support a team of 4-7 cold callers. Conduct regular training sessions, role-plays, and performance reviews. Hire, onboard, and, when necessary, transition underperformers off the team.

Performance Management

Monitor daily, weekly, and monthly KPIs (appointments set, talk time, close rate, etc.). Provide feedback, strategies, and scripts to continuously improve results. Run weekly meetings with callers to review performance and sharpen objection handling.

Sales Training & Development

Develop and refine cold call scripts, objection handling frameworks, and training materials. Work closely with the sales manager to align caller goals with company targets.

Tech & Tools Management

Oversee use of the auto-dialer and ensure callers are using the system efficiently. Manage HubSpot CRM pipeline for lead tracking, call outcomes, and data accuracy. Support callers in troubleshooting tech issues.

Lead Generation & Management

Help source, qualify, and distribute lead lists to cold callers. Ensure leads are properly tagged, tracked, and followed up in HubSpot.
Qualifications

3+ years of experience managing a sales or call center team (B2B preferred). Proven success in outbound cold calling and appointment setting. Strong background in sales training, coaching, and script development. Proficiency in HubSpot CRM and auto-dialer tools. Strong communication and leadership skills with a track record of motivating teams. Data-driven mindset with the ability to track and improve KPIs. Comfortable working in a virtual environment across different time zones.
Compensation

Competitive pay based on experience. Performance bonuses tied to KPI achievement.

Pay: R150,00 - R200,00 per hour
