The Role





The VIP Account Manager will deliver a premium, personalised experience to our most valuable customers, building strong relationships to drive loyalty and enhance lifetime value. This role is critical to our success in the new South African market and offers the chance to shape the future of customer excellence. You will manage a portfolio of VIP clients, ensuring a tailored service that reflects the premium nature of the Virgin Bet brand.


Key Responsibilities




Manage a portfolio of high-value customers, building long-term relationships through personalised service. Cultivate and grow the HVC base by identifying potential VIPs through behavioural data. Act as the primary point of contact for all HVC-related issues, ensuring swift and discreet resolution. Deliver tailored services including bespoke promotions, exclusive gifting, and curated experiences. Co-host and support high-profile events, such as major sporting occasions and brand activations. Collaborate with internal teams to ensure HVC experiences are seamless and data-informed. Analyse customer data to identify trends, preferences, and opportunities for personalised engagement. Ensure all interactions comply with Responsible Gaming, AML, and Data Protection regulations. Provide regular feedback and insights to contribute to the evolution of the VIP programme. Be available during key sporting events, including weekends and evenings, to provide real-time support

Key Skills and Experience




Experience managing high-value customer relationships, ideally within the South African betting market. Strong understanding of sports and casino betting products. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and CRM platforms. Ability to analyse customer data and translate insights into actionable strategies. Familiarity with compliance frameworks including Responsible Gaming and AML. Fluent in English and Afrikaans (or local dialect), with excellent communication skills. Skilled in developing trust and rapport with diverse and high-value customer profiles. Passionate about delivering exceptional, premium customer experiences. Comfortable working flexible hours, including weekends and evenings, to support customers. Confident and composed when handling challenging conversations or situations.
