The SWAP Service is a fast-paced environment with various strategic logistics partners that support throughout the movement, delivery, collection and RMA repair cycle, we are introducing this role to support SWAP Operations, with a consistent and reliable function that owns and maintains the quality of service, through creating strong relationships, performance management, driving improvements, etc.
To achieve this, you will be part of a TEAM and manage, own the Logistics Courier, SWAP strategic partner relationship. You will work closely with the Customer, Operations teams, Engineers and our internal teams to ensure we deliver a reliable service. Quality will be your focus but in parallel on performance, development and planning for growth
A part of this role will require you to keep abreast of changing Logistics services and solutions and how these could l affect, contribute to the fulfilment & service logistics, delivering outcomes in efficiency and for the customer.
Main Responsibilities:
Working with through an influencing, collaborative approach our strategic Partner
Being an interphase between our customer account dedicated staff, the customers, and partner
Ensuring and managing the selected Courier, SWAP and Filter/Repair strategic Partners
Working with the customer to ensure the correct solution for the service need
Working closely with the cost team to ensure costings for tenders, responses are understood
Create and own the process for escalations
Commercial negotiator, defining, engaging, and managing purchases in services & solutions
Monthly/quarterly meetings with the strategic partners covering performance, opportunities and improvements
Supporting the onboarding of new vendor programmes
Meeting with customer and Computacenter
Work closely with the Company RC/Workshops to assist with the compliance on
Returns - Taking actions to minimise the Quality Hold status
Returns - Field engineers are received within 10 working days
Returns - SWAP and Courier Partners
The ideal candidate:
Experience in running a successful Logistics department or transport / operations team
Someone who is pro-active in dealing with issues, escalations and owns this through to completion
Flexibility will be crucial as support will be required OOH
A thorough and technical knowledge on the various elements of Service Logistics
A buyer, strategic thinker who is good in negotiating, positioning, and delivering
A good track record of delivering exceptional levels of service
A self-starter and someone who can work on their own initiative
A good level of Technology, Systems Understanding with an element of Engineering background
Membership of a professional Logistics organisation
With a can do, self-starting approach
Multilingual is desirable
Monday - Friday (Hours to be discussed)
37.5 Hours per week - Hybrid
