Job Summary

  • Grade 12 with Accountancy as a subject
  • 2-5 years' administration experience, preferably within a finance, audit, or utilities environment
  • Knowledge of building utilities

Key Responsibilities In this role, you will:
  • Resolve utility-related queries with municipalities.
  • Report on energy management and consumption across the portfolio, including sustainability reporting.
  • Liaise and negotiate with distributors and regulatory bodies regarding billing matters.
  • Monitor utilities procedures and ensure compliance within the portfolio.
  • Ensure data integrity by scrutinising invoices, leases, and related documents for accuracy.
  • Review and audit leases to confirm correct billing of all utility charges.
  • Manage LPG suppliers, water and electricity supplies, and oversee changeovers as needed.
  • Handle tenant utility queries and coordinate audits with service providers.
  • Analyse recoveries and ensure accurate tracking of water and electricity meters.
  • Manage telecommunications suppliers and liaise with Eskom regarding contracts and site operations.
  • Support BMS updates and upgrades on site.
