UK Lettings Management Support Agent



This role sits within GOTO Group SA, providing dedicated property management support to one of our key UK-based client partners. The Lettings Management Support Agent plays a vital role in delivering an exceptional landlord and tenant experience through proactive maintenance coordination, efficient handling of tenancy matters, and reliable day-to-day operational support. The ideal candidate is organised, solution-driven, and thrives in a service-led environment. You'll be the steady pair of hands ensuring properties are well-maintained, communication is clear, and issues are resolved quickly and professionally. Key Responsibilities



Support the end-to-end management of UK residential lettings properties on behalf of our client.

Coordinate planned maintenance activities, ensuring inspections, certificates and compliance tasks are completed on time.

Manage first-line reactive maintenance by assessing issues, liaising with landlords, tenants and contractors, and arranging resolutions.

Prepare rental market comparables for proposed rent increases and communicate recommendations to landlords and tenants.

Handle the administrative steps for rent-increase notices and support any initial tenant queries or disputes.

Assist with rent protection claims, including gathering documentation, monitoring progress, and updating stakeholders.

Monitor rent arrears, initiate first-line communications with tenants, and provide updates to landlords and the client.

Process contractor invoices by validating completed work and raising the required documentation.

Schedule and coordinate routine property inspections, review inspection outcomes, and escalate any issues that require maintenance or follow-up.

Maintain accurate records and ensure all property documents, certificates, and communications are correctly filed and accessible.

Provide exceptional service to landlords and tenants, ensuring clear, professional, and timely communication at all times.

Key Skills



Previous experience within lettings, rentals, housing management, or property administration (UK or SA).

Strong administrative and organisational skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities.

Excellent written and verbal communication, with a professional and client-focused approach.

Confident in dealing with tenants, landlords, and contractors in a calm and solution-driven manner.

High attention to detail, ensuring accuracy across documents, reports, and communications.

Ability to learn new systems quickly and follow established processes consistently.

Problem-solving mindset with good judgement on when to escalate queries to UK teams.

Salary: Negotiable, dependent on experience, up to R20,000 basic + performance bonus + transport allowance + post-probation benefits.

Job Type: Full-time
