Job Description
Minimum requirements
Certificate in Tyre repair and maintenance or ATS At-least 3 years experience working as Tyre Repairer and Fitter Drivers License with PDP Computer Literate
Responsibilities
Tyre inspection: Examine tyres for wear, damage, punctures, and tread depth to determine repair or replacement needs. Tyre fitting: Remove and fit tyres on cars, trucks, buses, and other vehicles using appropriate tools and machinery. Tyre repair: Patch punctures, repair sidewall damage, and perform retreading where applicable. Wheel balancing: Balance wheels to ensure smooth vehicle operation and reduce tyre wear. Wheel alignment assistance: Support alignment procedures to improve handling and extend tyre life. Customer service: Provide advice on tyre care, maintenance, and replacement options. Safety compliance: Follow health and safety regulations, ensuring safe use of equipment and proper disposal of damaged tyres. Record keeping: Maintain accurate logs of repairs, replacements, and customer interactions
