Job Description
Previous experience as a Tyre Fitter
Key Responsibilities
Remove, fit, balance, and inflate tyres on cars, vans, and/or commercial vehicles Carry out puncture repairs in line with industry standards Inspect tyres for wear, damage, and legal compliance Perform wheel balancing and valve replacement Use tyre fitting and diagnostic equipment correctly and safely Maintain accurate job records and stock control where required Adhere to health & safety procedures and company policies Keep the workshop or mobile unit clean and organised Provide professional customer service and advice on tyre care
Skills & Competencies
Practical mechanical aptitude Ability to work efficiently under pressure Strong attention to detail Good customer communication skills Ability to work independently and as part of a team Physically fit and capable of manual handling
Experience & Qualifications
Previous experience as a Tyre Fitter preferred (training may be provided) Knowledge of tyre types, sizes, and fitting procedures Senior Certifcate Knowledge of tyre types, sizes, and fitting procedures
Health & Safety
Understanding of safe working practices Ability to follow manual handling guidelines Use of PPE at all times
Working Conditions
Workshop-based and/or mobile fitting May involve outdoor work in varying weather Shift work, weekends, and call-outs may be required
