Requirements:

Typography diploma
3 to 5 years, experience gained in a similar position (Typesetting Annual Financial Statements and Financial Reports)
Design and finished art experience advantageous
Previous experience gained in an advertising, a large corporate environment or textbook publications house
Working knowledge of printing and production processes
Microsoft Office suite
Advanced levels of Mac: Adobe CC suite, Illustrator, InDesign and Photoshop

Key responsibilities:
Provide an accurately typeset document of exceptional quality
Workflow process:

Follow correct systems, procedures according to the workflow process on all projects
Highlight areas that should/could be changed or improved upon
o Ensure that files are set up correctly and style sheets applied
Perform correct interpretation of the design into the typeset document in conjunction with the designer
Ensure accurate inclusion of content into the typeset document, and correct implementation of authors corrections
Ensure accurate plotting of graphs
Find solutions to potential work-related problems and communicate these proactively to the Traffic Manager
Check own house corrections on work, and are always kept below a maximum of 10% of actual hours spent
Ensure files are saved on the server
Some experience in financial reporting essential
