Job Description
Key Responsibilities
Set up and operate conventional lathes and milling machines to manufacture components to specification
Interpret engineering drawings and job instructions accurately
Measure and inspect finished parts using micrometers, calipers, and gauges
Perform routine maintenance and ensure machines are in good working order
Maintain a clean and organized work area in line with safety standards
Requirements
Proven experience as a Turner in a manufacturing or engineering environment
Proficient in operating manual lathe and milling machines
Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and tolerances
Matric certificate or relevant technical qualification preferred
Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently or in a team
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: R60,00 - R150,00 per hour
Expected hours: No less than 40 per week
Work Location: In person
