Key Performance Output
- Manage work areas and keep work areas clean and free from debris (workshops/substations/etc.)
- Give support in commissioning and testing of assets.
- Complete defined audits, monitor processes and adherence to standards, and participate in root cause analysis.
- Execute safe planned and unplanned maintenance activities and assist artisan with infrastructure maintenance and routine inspections as and when required.
- Manage work areas and keep work areas clean and free from debris (workshops/substations/etc.)
- Give support in commissioning and testing of assets.
- Manage tools and keep a register of tools issued to Electrician
- Liaison and engage with internal stakeholders to ensure effective and efficient operations.
- Provide input into all relevant reports.
- Identify and report possible efficiency enhancements and initiatives to ensure resource savings.
- Engage with relevant Stakeholders on report findings.
The following skills and experience or the equivalent of such will be required:
- National Senior Certificate (N3 Electrical Engineering).
- 1-year Operational Maintenance.
- Knowledge of basic clerical, operational or customer service skills acquired through education, experience or on the job training.
- Code B Motor vehicle license
- knowledge of electrical equipment and tolls
- basic knowledge of Occupational Health and Safety Act
