Monitor and update vehicle status.
Coordinate with drivers, carriers, and dispatch teams to verify delivery progress.
Ensure accurate logging of departure, transit, and arrival times.
Track delays, disruptions, or route deviations and escalate issues when needed.
Communicate shipment status to customers and internal teams (customer service, operations, planning).
Generate daily, weekly, or monthly tracking reports.
Maintain documentation for compliance (proof of delivery, tracking logs, exceptions reports).
Work closely with warehouse teams to verify order accuracy and readiness for dispatch.
Resolve tracking discrepancies by investigating data mismatches or missing records.
Monitor GPS fleet tracking systems and update ETAs accordingly.
Required Skills
Strong attention to detail and accuracy
Good communication and coordination skills
Valid Senior Certificate/ Matric
Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
Basic understanding of transportation routes, carriers, and logistics processes
Problem-solving and escalation management
