Secret Food Tours

is an award-winning tour company immediately looking for outgoing individuals who are passionate about food, travelling history and culture to lead food tours and help create our brand new Food Tour through Cape Town

This role is a lot of fun and a perfect fit for applicants with a flair for entertaining and a love of great food. Our guides lead small groups of tourists through some of Cape Towns best food stalls, bars, restaurants and vendors while sharing history and culture along the way. As well as someone interested in helping create a Food Tour route across the city

Our ideal candidate is:
- Professional, responsible, and great with both time and money management.
- Passionate about history, culture, and most importantly the food behind their city!
- Outgoing and dedicated to providing a once-in-a-lifetime guest experience.
- Able to explain in an engaging way important aspects of the history, food and culture of South Africa pertinent to the tour.

Secret Food Tours

offers competitive pay with a

flat rate of 800 Rand per 3 to 3,5 hour tour

plus tips which are frequent and generous

Tours might run daily at morning and afternoon plus there's the chance to run private ones at agreed timings.

We are looking to bring on 2 guides with flexible availability to cover a few bookings each month with the idea that the guide will cover more as soon as we spread in the city.

Additional shifts may be available also at alternate times based on private and group bookings.
