Job Summary This brigade of chefs jointly create an inspiring selection of beautifully plated tasting menus under an acclaimed SA Top Chef. ProStaffSelect are in search of a focused & highly creative young chef who understands the level of this type of cuisine and who's passionate about food, always timely, reliable, adaptable and detail oriented. REQUIREMENTS: A recognized professional/classical/formal culinary qualification Minimum 4 years industry work experience within Fine Dining / Top 10 Eat Out level establishments Culinary strengths in Hot & Cold Kitchen with experience in plating of multiple components Must be adaptable to working off different menus on a weekly basis Effective communication skills and proficient in English & an outgoing personality Must be comfortable creating new dishes with SEVERAL detailed plating components and INNOVATIVE garnish ideas. Must demonstrate good planning skills, be well organized and work efficiently and hygienically. Additional: Amazing working conditions with a highly passionate and skilled team. Opportunity to rotate within the team on other sections as needed. High tips earned and shared will all the team CDP's are expected to manage their own sections completely and introduce weekly menu items.
