Toolmaker
Job Description
:
Our client is seeking an experienced Toolmaker to join the Uitenhage team
Manufacture, repair, and maintain injection moulding tools and dies to ensure efficient production.
Diagnose and resolve tooling issues, including root cause analysis of defects and failures.
Perform scheduled preventive maintenance and ensure tools are kept in optimal condition.
Set up and operate manual and CNC toolroom machinery to produce precision components.
Modify existing tooling to improve production performance and quality.
Ensure compliance with safety standards, housekeeping, and company procedures.
Assist production teams with tool-related challenges during manufacturing processes.
Maintain accurate records of repairs, modifications, and maintenance performed
Collaborate with design engineers on tooling concepts and improvements.
Ensure minimal downtime by responding swiftly to tooling-related breakdowns
Requirements
Grade 12
Trade Tested Toolmaker
Minimum 3 years' Toolmaking experience
Injection moulding experience will be an advantage
