Job Description
Main Purpose
The development of key accounts particularly in the Northern Cape, Free State and North West regions in conjunction with our established distributor network so must be prepared to travel and spend time away from home. Suitable for an experienced technical sales person. Grow market share in conjunction with existing distributor network. Candidate will be based in JHB
Key Performance Areas:
- Sales
- Technical support
- Customer service
- To increase market share in specific assigned regions and to identify key accounts and expand business to these customers
- To prepare and submit tender documents / quotations for customer or project proposals
- To ensure that specific, predetermined sales objectives are met on a monthly basis
- To provide overall technical support to the complete range of products (Filters)
- To develop alternative markets through modifications and improvements on both existing and new products
- Monitor andcontroldistributor regions as assigned in distributor agreements
- Utilise MSA business tools such as, Catalyst, High spot and CRM to improve market coverage
- Travel planning into Africa (where applicable as and when required)
- Matric
- Technical and/ or commercial qualification
- Proven technical sales track record
- Mining, transportation and agricultural knowledge will be advantageous
- Experience in the mining industry would also be beneficial
- Relevant experience of more than 5 years
- Computer literacy
- Excellent communication skills
- Customer focused
- Work independently and remotely
