Prepare and produce a variety of dishes including salads, fast food items, daily specials, vegetarian, meat, and fish dishes
Ensure food is prepared to a consistently high standard and served timeously
Maintain strict food hygiene, cleanliness, and safety standards
Work efficiently during busy service periods
Assist with food preparation, service, and occasional functions or events
Keep workstations, kitchen, cold room, and storeroom clean and organised
Work effectively as part of a team in a small, fast-paced kitchen environment
Requirements:
Minimum of 2 years experience as a Cook in a deli, cafe, or restaurant environment
Experience preparing a range of dishes including salads, breakfasts, meat, fish, and vegetarian options
Ability to work under pressure and manage time effectively
Reliable, punctual, and consistent
Strong attention to cleanliness and food safety
Good communication skills in English
Ability to work well with others and maintain a positive attitude
Own transport and a recognised culinary qualification will be an advantage
Working Hours & Conditions:
Working hours: 08:00 17:00, with occasional evening/night functions
Must be willing to work weekends and public holidays
Fast-paced, small, and warm kitchen environment
