Our client in the Service Industry is currently looking to employ an experienced Technician, to join their team based in Mossel Bay (Voorbaai).
Requirements:
- Matric (Grade 12).
- Technically skilled and experienced in installations and maintenance.
- Valid drivers license.
- Own transport to and from work.
- Fully bilingual (English and Afrikaans preferred).
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Able to work effectively in a team environment.
- Ideally some knowledge but not critical of the following will be an advantage:
- DStv Installations.
- Sound Systems.
- Fiber Optic network distribution installation of cables, splicing, testing etc.
- Wireless knowledge, especially setup of Wi-Fi access Points.
- Excellent trouble shooting skills.
- Lead technical installations and maintenance of security systems.
- Install, configure, and maintain CCTV systems (IP and Analogue).
- Set up and service access control systems (IP and Analogue), with strong focus on Impro and e-Tag systems.
- Install and maintain gate and garage automation systems (e.g. Centurion, ET, Hansa).
- Set up and maintain cell-to-gate controllers (e.g. Centurion).
- Install and service intercom systems (IP and Analogue).
- Provide basic user training to clients on installed systems.
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical faults efficiently.
- Work collaboratively with team members on projects and service tasks.
