Mascor is currently looking for a Precision AG Technical Specialist to provide support and technical assistance to customers who are using precision technologies. This position will plan, organize, promote and deliver service and support clinics with a special focus on customer satisfaction and quality assurance.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

a. Support

i. Develop and implement tools to assist employees and customers to enhance their product knowledge.

ii. Provide assistance to employees and customers remotely.

iii. Create and follow up on CCMS cases, engaging with the factory directly

b. Sales

i. Attend to any inquiries on sales from both employees and customers.

ii. Ensure East Africa key account coverage is 100%.

iii. Assist the sales department to develop the confidence to operate equipment correctly.

iv. Ensure up-to-date knowledge on changing product lines.

v. Identify necessary technology solutions needed by specific markets.

vi. Share new features and benefits with the sales department as and when they are released.

vii. Develop construction and forestry technology sales tools.

viii. Meet budgeted sales targets.

ix. Introduce new leading-edge products

x. Ensure East Africa KAM sales exceed budget

c. Training

i. Plan, organize, promote, and deliver service and support clinics during specific seasons

ii. Enable specialists to deliver training on precision AG products.

iii. Train customers and staff on available online tools

iv. Develop presentations to ensure training or new information gets delivered accurately

v. Maintain John Deere training levels and redeliver to sales, technical and parts personnel as needed.

vi. Develop helpful advice to employees to assist with quick solutions. vii. Ensure construction and forestry technology training is initiated and executed.

d. Marketing

i. Participate in customer on-farm demos and optimization sharing

ii. Follow up with salesmen to ensure targeted customers receive demonstrations.

iii. Develop a monthly marketing plan with 80% execution

iv. Share promotions on products at the correct time of the season

e. Management

i. Ensure all subordinates' performance management is managed and monitored. Drive development areas.

ii. Compile and report on cost to budget for the department.

iii. Control stock obsolescence within budget

iv. Address customer inquiries timeously.

v. Maintain customer products' uptime.

vi. Monitor and Manage outstanding CCMS cases for service relates cases.

REQUIREMENTS:

a. Qualifications:

i. Min: Technical trade test qualification

ii. Ideal: Bachelorxe2x80x99s degree in Business Management/Sales and Marketing

b. Experience:

i. 3-5 yearsxe2x80x99 experience in the Precision AG field

ii. 3-5 years of experience supervising a team of Precision AG employees.
