Technical Sales Representative Durban Manufacturing

We are seeking an experienced Technical Sales Representative to join the team in KZN reporting to the Sales Manager.
This role offers the opportunity to grow market share, build lasting customer relationships, and deliver tailored wear solutions across the region.

Key Requirements

• Grade 12; a Sales/Marketing qualification is advantageous
• 35 years proven sales experience in a target-driven environment
• Strong interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills
• Skilled in negotiation, customer relationship management, and research
• Proficiency in MS Office, Google Drive, Gmail and presentations
• Analytical mindset with strong numeracy and attention to detail
• Self-driven, persistent, persuasive and deadline-oriented
• Valid drivers licence and willingness to travel within Durban

Key Responsibilities

• Promote and technically introduce a full range of products and wear solutions.
• Achieve sales targets and drive revenue growth across allocated areas
• Build and maintain strong client relationships, ensuring excellent service delivery
• Identify opportunities, prepare proposals, and close deals effectively
• Provide accurate sales forecasting and market intelligence
• Support pricing optimisation and maximise profit margins
• Conduct cold-calling activity to expand volume and revenue streams
