Our client, a supplier of hardware tools and machinery is seeking to employ a Technical Sales Representative to join their KZN team.

Requirements:
- Matric qualification.
- Valid driver's licence.
- Minimum 5 Years Sales Experience in the Industrial sales sector (mining, petrochemical, aeronautics, water sanitation, construction, engineering, agriculture).
- Hands on and technical.
- Communication skills.
- Interpersonal skills.
Analyse the market:
- Cold call potential new customers.
- Meet with potential new customers and promote product and service offerings.
- Keep up to date with market trends by analysing the market.
- Observe competitor activities.
- Compare company products with alternative products.
- Identify and suggest products based on customer needs.
- Assist in drawing up quotations.
- Convince customers to buy the product.
- Secure business through negotiating pricing with the customer.
- Deliver stock to customers when needed urgently.
- Inspect customer's equipment.
- Promote service offerings as per customer needs.
- Schedule Van visits with the customer.
- Visit customers regularly.
- Resolve customer complaints or queries.
- Demonstrate how to use a product.
- Conduct safety training when using the product.
- Attend road shows.
