Job Summary RS Recruitment & Training is assisting a leading crane manufacturing company, based in WESTMEAD, DURBAN to source a TECHNICAL SALES REPRESENTATIVE . Basic + commission + fuel & cell phone allowances. Medical aid and provident fund benefits are also part of the package. OUR CLIENT IS SOUTHERN AFRICAS LEADING CRANE DESIGNER AND MANUFACTURER AND ALSO OFFERS REPAIR AND MAINTENANCE SERVICES. Applicants should be/have the following: 3-5 years experience in a technical sales and marketing environment. Exposure to and experience with the crane manufacturing environment, essential. Qualification in sales and/or marketing, an advantage. Basic understanding in mechanical and electrical principles. Solid experience and successful track record with new business development. Valid unendorsed drivers license. Own reliable vehicle. Key responsibilities, but not limited to: Maintaining and developing the customer base. Generating sales leads. Sales presentations and product demonstrations. Assist with determining pricing schedules for quotes, promotions, and negotiations. Negotiating contracts with potential clients. Meeting set sales targets. Preparing and submitting sales contracts for orders. Preparing weekly and monthly reports. Obtaining deposits and balance of payment from clients. Remuneration: Basic + commission + fuel & cell phone allowances. Medical aid and provident fund benefits are also part of the package.
