Technical Manufacturing Artisan Nelspruit
Identify and fix any mechanical, electrical and pneumatic faults that may lead to machine breakdown and to suggest best ways and practices to mitigate further problems
Operational
xe2x96xaa Work shift and standby as per operational requirements.
xe2x96xaa Perform preventative maintenance tasks, checks and scheduled inspection.
xe2x96xaa Analyze and interpret technical drawings/wiring diagrams.
xe2x96xaa Installing, inspecting and repairing of industrial machinery.
xe2x96xaa Disassembly of machines in order to detect faults.
xe2x96xaa Inspection of mechanical and electrical equipment as well as buildings, facilities and fixtures as part of maintenance schedules.
xe2x96xaa Ensure equipment function optimally for production effectiveness.
Support
xe2x96xaa Support Senior Artisan with preventative maintenance.
Troubleshooting
xe2x96xaa Electrical, mechanical and pneumatic fault finding
xe2x96xaa Conduct and be part of Root Cause Analyses investigations on breakdowns and major failures
Role Accountability:
xe2x96xaa Accurate performance of responsibilities within timelines
xe2x96xaa Implementation and adherence to policies, procedures, quality and compliance standards.
xe2x96xaa Troubleshooting and resolving of problems
Deliverables:
xe2x96xaa Adherence to SOPs, WI and Procedures for your area.
xe2x96xaa Ensure by means of planned maintenance that production processes are optimized, overall downtime reduced and operational performance increased.
xe2x96xaa Senior Artisan, Maintenance Manager, and Section head is notified of equipment downtime.
xe2x96xaa Root cause of equipment failures conducted
Education and Experience
xe2x96xaa Recognized trade Test
xe2x96xaa Minimum of 3 years experience in trade
Knowledge and skills
xe2x96xaa Understanding Food Safety standards and compliance requirements
xe2x96xaa Thorough understanding of electrical, mechanical and process equipment
