Job Description
An opportunity has arisen for a Technical Manager position in the North west - to assist with managing performance of a shift or skilled and semi-skilled artisans, ensure successful implementation, monitoring and management of SHEQ procedures. Please refer to the minimum requirements, duties and responsibilities below for further information.
Minimum Requirements
- Qualified Diesel Mechanic and Electrical (trade papers essential),
- Diploma/ NQF Level 6
- Mechanical engineering tertiary,
- Must have 10 years or more experience,
- MUST have experience on MAN, Volvo, VW and MB,
- Must have experience in accounting,
- Must be fully computer literate,
- Manage three workshops and manager the workshop teams,
- Develop and maintain a sound relationship with workshop and operations staff and suppliers,
- Manage the fleet maintenance programme,
- Manage the budget and compiling thererof,
- Manage day to day vehicle maintenance costs to acceptable levels,
- Manage store stock levels and the purchase or replacement parts and equipment,
- Mentor and coach the workshop team,
