To oversee the technical team and manage, improve and optimise the technical operations within the facility. To act as the management representative for Quality Management System and Occupational Health Safety.
RESPONSIBILIES
- Manage the Technical Operations of the Hospital
- Manage and support Technical Projects within the Hospital
- Manage and mitigate Technical Operations risk within the Hospital
- Oversee the management and maintenance of building and equipment
- Oversee and manage on-site contractors in Hospital
- Ensure quality management and continuous improvement within Technical Operations
- Lead and manage the people in the Technical team
- Manage and control department budget / finances
- N6, S4, T4 with Mechanical or Electrical
- N6, S4, T4 with Mechanical or Electrical (thermodynamics; electro engineering) beneficial
- Minimum of 10 - 12 years relevant experience with
- Minimum of 4 - 6 years experience within a hospital environment
- N6, S4 or T4 qualification ( NQF level 6).
- Passed oral evaluation by general Manager Technical operations
- Financial Management and Budgeting
- Use of mechanical tools and machinery
- Fault finding and troubleshooting
- Competent Person as per Occupational Health and Safety Act (OHS) Act 85 of 1993 General Machinery Regulations
- People Management
- Quality Management
- Technical Operations
- Preventative maintenance
- Report writing
- Operational Standards e.g. LEAN principles
- Project Management
