Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Technical Lead to join our Business Continuity and Disaster Recovery (BCP/DRP) team. The successful candidate will be responsible for the development, implementation, and maintenance of our client's business continuity and disaster recovery plans. This role requires a strong technical background in backup and recovery technologies, excellent planning and coordination skills, and the ability to lead and mentor a team of BCP/DRP specialists.

Key Responsibilities

Lead the design, implementation, and testing of the enterprise-wide business continuity and disaster recovery plans.

Manage and maintain the backup and recovery infrastructure, ensuring the integrity and availability of critical data and systems.

Conduct regular risk assessments and business impact analyses to identify potential threats and vulnerabilities.

Develop and maintain recovery strategies for critical business functions and IT systems.

Coordinate and execute regular disaster recovery tests and exercises to validate the effectiveness of the recovery plans.

Provide technical leadership and guidance to the BCP/DRP team.

Create and maintain comprehensive documentation, including BCP/DRP plans, procedures, and test reports.

Collaborate with other IT teams and business stakeholders to ensure alignment of BCP/DRP strategies with business requirements.

Stay current with industry best practices and emerging trends in business continuity and disaster recovery.

Qualifications and Experience

Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.

Proven experience in a business continuity, disaster recovery, or a similar role.

Strong technical knowledge of backup and recovery technologies (e.g., Veeam, Zerto, Commvault).

Experience with virtualization and cloud platforms (e.g., VMware, Hyper-V, Azure, AWS).

Excellent project management and organizational skills.

Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Relevant industry certifications (e.g., CBCP, EDRP) are highly desirable.
