Job Summary
We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Technical Lead to join our Business Continuity and Disaster Recovery (BCP/DRP) team at the L1 level. The successful candidate will be responsible for assisting in the execution of business continuity and disaster recovery procedures, performing routine checks, and escalating issues as needed. This is an entry-level position ideal for an individual looking to start a career in business continuity and disaster recovery.
Key Responsibilities
Assist in the execution of backup and recovery procedures.
Monitor backup jobs and report on their status.
Perform basic troubleshooting of backup and recovery issues.
Assist in the maintenance of BCP/DRP documentation.
Participate in disaster recovery tests and exercises.
Escalate issues to the L2/L3 BCP/DRP team as required.
Follow standard operating procedures for all BCP/DRP-related tasks.
Qualifications and Experience
A certificate or diploma in Information Technology or a related field.
A basic understanding of IT infrastructure and concepts.
A strong interest in business continuity and disaster recovery.
Good communication and documentation skills.
A willingness to learn and develop new skills.
