Job Description
A big player within the Engineering space is seeking a Technical Buyer to join their team to be based in JHB East. This role will challenge your thinking and problem-solving abilities.
The Key Responsibilities for this Role Include
- Facilitating sea, air and inland shipping and coordination of deliveries
- Act as a liaison between shipping lines and forwarding agents for imports as well as exports
- Managing requisition to payment process (R2P)
- Expediting delivery of POxe2x80x99s
- Diploma / Degree in Purchasing Management or similar
- 6+ yearsxe2x80x99 experience as a Technical Buyer
- Maintenance, control, and management of Procurement Purchasing
- Experience with sea, air, and inland shipping, coordinating deliveries and pickups
- Working knowledge of R2P processes
- Expediting experience
- Valid Driverxe2x80x99s License
