TECHNICAL BREED SPECIALIST xe2x80x93 FM1686 - WESTERN CAPEBetween Port Elizabeth, Eastern Cape & Western Cape: Our client is looking for a Technical Breed Specialist to join the team/association.This position starts March 2024.Only candidates with the relevant experience will be considered.The location of the vacancy will be discussed with the successful candidate.MINIMUM REQUIREMENTSRelevant tertiary qualification xe2x80x93 diploma or degree within agricultural field or similarProven experience with genetics / milk recording / registration of animals / animal health / genotyping / bull selection / herd and stud book etcGreat stockmanship and strong cow classification ability essentialPrevious dairy experience advantageousKnowledge of dairy cows and dairy farming operation essentialPrevious agricultural sales management experience advantageousComputer literateBe a motivated, energetic self-starter, capable of taking initiative and working with peopleLove COWS and agricultureMust be willing to travel extensivelyONLY short-listed candidates will be contacted
