Clover Kuruman Distribution Branch is looking for a highly organized and detail-oriented Team Leader: Distribution to provide efficient administrative and operational support in distribution. The successful candidate will be responsible for coordinating driver schedules, managing leave records, updating operational spreadsheets, overseeing vehicle maintenance compliance, and liaising with internal teams and external service providers to ensure smooth daily operations.

Minimum Requirements
Grade 12 (essential)
Certificate/Diploma in Office Administration, Logistics, or Supply Chain Management - advantageous
Minimum of 2-3 years' experience in a warehouse supervisory or team leader role
Location in Kuruman - advantageous
Experience with systems - advantageous
Exposure to fleet or vehicle maintenance coordination preferred
Business English: Fluent
Experience in working with senior management

Duties and Responsibilities
Provide General Office Administration Support
Update driver planning schedules and operational rosters
Maintain ad hoc Labour Broker timesheets
Update and manage the "Way Better" spreadsheet
Capture and record daily vehicle defects identified during pre-trip inspections
Compile weekly rosters for staff operating on a Compressed Working Week schedule
Read and respond to all incoming correspondence and emails promptly
Confirm all trucks have departed in the morning and communicate any delays or issues
Liaise with Distribution Managers on urgent tasks and daily priorities
Follow up on requests or issues raised by night shift staff
Leave Administration
Capture all employee leave applications on the PaySpace system
Ensure all leave requests are approved and processed timeously
Cross-check that all captured leave aligns accurately with Best Time records
Vehicle and Fleet Management
Ensure pre-trip inspections are conducted in line with Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)
Record and report vehicle incidents, accidents, or damages
Conduct follow-ups to confirm vehicles are roadworthy before leaving the premises
Monitor truck kilometres and schedule services proactively
Arrange Certificates of Fitness (COF) at least one month before expiry
Maintain general upkeep and compliance of the fleet
Liaise with key service providers
Distribution and Reporting
Review drivers debrief reports for cash and delivery discrepancies.
Prepare and send the DRM report to Expedite.
Liaise with Expedite regarding the movement and delivery status of trucks and crews
CHEP and Pallet Management
Record pallet transactions (received and collected) on spreadsheets
Conduct weekly pallet counts and provide updates
Collect pallets for direct deliveries from wholesalers
* Prepare and submit monthly pallet inventory reports
