"Please note that the University is obligated, in terms of recent amendments to the Criminal Law (Sexual Offences and Related Matters) Amendment Act 2021 (Act 13 of 2021), to assess all prospective employees (including applicants) against the National Register for Sex Offenders (NRSO). The outcome of such an assessment may have an impact upon possible employment with the University.

Responsibilities:
Assist with incident logging and investigation.
Track and follow-up on reported incidents and projects.
Assist with the testing of solved incidents and new developments.
Regularly review user systems access and update rights.
Administer and support Student Finance systems, including ITS Integrator, Bursary Hive System, Q-Management System, etc.
Communicate with third-party service providers.
Collaboration with UJ staff and other stakeholders.
Conduct monthly cleanup of Student Finance SharePoint folders, and documents.
Serve as the webmaster and content creator for the Student Finance webpage.
Administer and support new projects/new enhancements on systems for Student Finance.
Assist with the gathering of requirements from stakeholders.
Perform tests on new developments, enhancements, and on program errors.
Assist with the training of users.
Minimum requirements
Diploma or Advanced Certificate (NQF6) in Information Systems or Financial Information Systems.
Three (3) years of experience in the higher education environment, especially within the student finance environment and supporting systems.
Knowledge of ITS Integrator system, particularly the ITS Integrator Student Finance System.
Familiarity with the automation systems, e.g., Microsoft Power Automate, SharePoint, Visio etc.
