Job Overview:
The ideal candidate will have vast knowledge of low voltage surge and lightning devices. Key performance indicators will include conducting site inspections to provide solutions to customers. This person will be responsible for product management and compliance with the industry.

Minimum requirements:

• Matric certificate.
• (B.Eng) Bachelorxe2x80x99s Degree in Electrical Engineering.
• 2-3 years relevant experience
• Reliable transport
• Computer literate: Outlook, Excel, Word, Netsuite (will be advantageous).
• Industry and technical product knowledge.
• Knowledge of the market and product area.

Duties will include but are not limited to:

• Provide pre-sale technical assistance and solutions based on customer needs.
• Facilitate product and service training sessions to distributors, contractors, consultants, and end users, maximizing client potential.
• Attending trade shows to assess market trends.
• Conduct site visits and or audits.
• Compile technical reports detailing findings and faults.
• Gather/manage and prioritize market / customer requirements,
• Recommend or contribute information in setting product prices.
• Provide information by preparing sales forecasts and reports.
• Establish personal networks.
• Develop a business case for new products, improvements to existing products, and business opportunities.
• Assess market competition by comparing products.
• Work closely with other staff members / departments to ensure business and customer satisfaction goals are met.
• Evaluate the current product range by indicating PROxe2x80x99s and CONs to present to management, advising if a product should be discontinued OR if a new product should be procured.
• Perform any other task, not specified herein, which may from time to time be requested by management
