Repair and maintenance of products, including logging faults and problems for continued improved products
Diagnostics and resolutions to ensure customer satisfaction
Forensic investigation into facility failures, understanding root causes, and establishing control measures to prevent reoccurrence
Accurate and timely reporting to all stakeholders, including customer feedback
Complete Test Services to all industry clients
Apply continuous improvement techniques in all activities to ensure ever-improving facilities
Liaise with the Development team with regards to problems experienced on site and in workshops for continued improvement
Issue diagnostics and resolution, ensuring high quality and timely reporting to the team and customer
Contributing to delivering a complete Battery Test Service to all Industry clients
Defines Test Cycles, Operating conditions, and various support functions based on all customer requirements/ specifications
Effectively fault find and repair batteries
Skills & Experience:
Minimum 2-5 Years of experience
Work on live high voltage (up to 1000V) battery systems
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Able to make limited decisions on technical matters within the framework
Building and maintaining relationships
Able to work in a team as well as alone
Must be physically fit and able to travel and perform duties under harsh and possibly hazardous client site conditions and requirements
Qualification:
Technical Diploma/Certificate or BTech Electrical Engineering OR Trade Test Electrician
Only South African Residents or individuals with a relevant South African work permit will be considered.
