Our client has an opportunity available for a Supply Chain Specialist based in Pretoria.

Requirements:

Relevant Logistics or Supply Chain tertiary qualification would be advantageous
5+ years' experience in a purchasing, logistics, packaging, engineering or status reporting position.
International experience in logistics.
Detailed, in-depth knowledge and experience with bank approved Letters of Credit.
Availability to assist customers and suppliers in different time zones as and when required.
Previous Accpac experience would be advantageous.
Customer Service Orientated.
Valid driver's license.

Responsibilities:

Obtain documentation as required on the documentary letter of credit.
Coordinating pickups and deliveries with carriers and forwarders.
Understand and comply with all import/export requirements.
Maintain excellent logistical flow.
Conduct Inbound/Outbound management.
Maintaining the MRP.
Conduct supply chain management.
Initiate and implement new projects across the company export supply chain functions.
Coordinate local and international purchases as well as shopping ETA's.
