Job Summary Main Purpose of the Job The successful candidate will be responsible for dealing with projects pertaining to new business, and business improvement projects. Per project will form a team and define improvement, co-develop, test and implement each project. You will schedule, plan, forecast, resource and manage all the activities aiming at assuring project accuracy and quality from conception to completion. You will also aim to improve effectiveness and efficiency within the Business Unit by conceptualisation, redesign and implementation of improved processes and technology. Duties Prepare, schedule, coordinate and monitor the assigned business projects. Monitor compliance to performance standards and specifications. Perform overall quality control of the work (budget, schedule, plans, personnels performance) and report regularly on project status. Assign responsibilities and mentor the project team. Cooperate and communicate effectively with the project team and provide assistance and technical support. Developing project-specific procedures for the work to be carried out. Interpreting clients requirements, identifying and addressing design parameters and engineering problems and ensuring solutions are implemented. Manage a robust review process for selecting, scoping and prioritising continuous improvement initiatives. Review and analyse all business processes/systems on an ongoing basis and identify areas for improvement based on leading practice or other benchmarks. Implement and embed changed processes/systems. Coach, facilitate, and train relevant individuals to implement and maintain changes. Remain up to date with the latest industry practices and tools/techniques. Monitor identified performance measurements progression of project processes and propose corrective actions to be implemented. Improve safety, quality, productivity, and delivery in all departments. Support internal and external audit activities Qualifications: Bachelors degree or higher in relevant field (B. Eng Industrial)/ BCom Logistics, or similar. Advance knowledge to improve business processes. Change Management will be an advantage. Computer literate: Advanced MS Office. Have the ability to manage and lead a team in the future. Experience: 3.- 5 years experience in Supply Chain and business process improvement Proven track record in operating and delivering performance improvement projects. Experience in change management Woring conditions: Will work across the country, but located at Head Office in Centurion Will travel regularly to meet clients and company facilities.
