Supplier Compliance Administrator
General roles and responsibilities:
1. Outbound call centre
Phoning suppliers on behalf of SCM clients, and requesting BEE certificates/affidavits
2. Data sourcing, vetting and capturing
Sourcing of supplier contact details where client has not provided one
Verifying if the company name, registration number and vat number on the BEE certificate/affidavit belongs to the company in question by way of using CIPC database and SARS vat vendor search portal
Vetting if the contents of the BEE document align to the Generic BEE codes/ sector codes for sector specific companies (Transport, Tourism, Construction etc.)
Uploading BEE documents on the BEE database (Beagle)
Successful candidate(s) demonstrates the following core competencies:
Impeccable interpersonal skills, and the ability to engage effectively and appropriately with personnel at all levels of an organization
Telephone etiquette
A high level of Microsoft Office proficiency, and general computer aptitude
Excellent verbal and written communication
Willingness to learn
An ability to take ownership of (and continuously improve) relevant work processes, and areas of accountability.
An ability to communicate complex ideas/principles effectively, simply and patiently
Comprehensive knowledge of the BEE codes (advantageous)
