this position requires someone to assist and advise technical staff, and correctly diagnose problems on vehicles. He/She must ensure that service and repairs are carried out to the highest standards of quality possible and to ensure Customer Satisfaction.
Distribute workload
Ensure that work is completed properly and on time
Monitor all work
Control staff timekeeping
Assist Technicians
Ensure a productive and efficient working environment
Test drive vehicles
Handle Customer complaints
Ensure consistent high quality work for all services and repairs
Assist with diagnosis regarding customer problems
Analyse comebacks
Supervise staff using motivation, assistance and discipline
Attend to warranty claims
Ensure good housekeeping
Ensure that safety measures are instituted and followed
Ensure healthy and safe working environment standards are adhered to by all staff
Ensure that workshop policies and procedures are adhered to
Assist Manager and replace Manager if he / she is not available
Assist Control, reception and administration
Prepare quotations
Assist Service Advisors with reception processes
Perform any other reasonable duties which may be required from time to time
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS:
Must have a minimum of Grade 12
Technical Diagnostic Skills
Must have a valid driver's license
Must have a clear Criminal Record
Toyota Experience
Qualified Motor Mechanic with relevant qualification
* Must have Leadership and Time Management skills
