Requirements
- Senior Certificate xe2x80x93 Grade 12
- 4-5 yearsxe2x80x99 relevant experience at City of Cape Town as Senior
- At least 2 yearsxe2x80x99 appropriate Supervisory experience
- Computer literacy (MS Word, Excel and SAP)
- Code B or EB driverxe2x80x99s licence
- Waste Management experience in composting environment
Key Performance Areas
- Managing the collection of containerised waste
- Managing Capital and Special Projects
- Managing Contracts
- Collating and Compiling Statistical information
- Managing Council refuse containers, dealing with queries and
- Liaising with various NGOxe2x80x99s, CIDxe2x80x99s etc on collection issues
- Managing facilities xe2x80x93 repairs and maintenance
- Managing the allocation of resources and personnel
- Implementing the Councilxe2x80x99s policies and procedures
- Managing Discipline
- Performing incident and accident investigations
- Ensuring compliance with Occupational Health and Safety
accidents and claims
- Assist with internal and external environmental audits
