Substation Engineer

Job Description
Job Summary Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and review substation designs, layouts, and technical specifications.
- Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure project integration.
- Conduct technical assessments and provide solutions for engineering challenges.
- Prepare design documentation, drawings, and reports.
- Ensure compliance with safety, environmental, and regulatory standards.
- Support project management in planning, budgeting, and scheduling activities.
- BEng Degree in Electrical Engineering.
- 3-8 years' experience in substation design (distribution and/or transmission level).
- Strong knowledge of relevant standards and codes (IEC, SANS, etc.).
- Proficiency in design software and CAD packages.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
