Introduction:

We are searching for a highly skilled and customer-oriented Specialist Service Advisor to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong automotive background, excellent communication skills, a passion for helping customers, and a proactive approach to problem-solving.

Responsibilities:

1. Greet customers and provide a warm welcome to the service department.

2. Collect and record customer information, vehicle details, and service history accurately.

3. Consult with customers to understand their service needs and provide recommendations based on their specific requirements.

4. Schedule service appointments and communicate service timelines to customers.

5. Coordinate with technicians and service managers to ensure timely completion of service tasks.

6. Provide accurate estimates and quotes for service work, and obtain customer approval before beginning repairs.

7. Keep customers informed of the status of their vehicle throughout the service process.

8. Upsell additional services or maintenance packages to customers based on manufacturer recommendations.

9. Handle customer complaints and resolve issues in a professional and timely manner.

10. Maintain a clean and organized service advisor area, including service records, appointment schedules, and customer information.

Requirements:

1. High school diploma or equivalent; additional certifications or training in automotive technology is a plus.

2. Minimum of 3 years of experience as a service advisor in an automotive dealership or service center.

3. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

4. Strong customer service orientation and a positive attitude.

5. Proven ability to multitask and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.

6. Proficiency in using computer software and service management systems.

7. Knowledge of automotive systems, parts, and maintenance processes.

8. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

9. Flexible schedule, including availability to work weekends and holidays.

10. Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
