The Specialist: Accountant contributes to the company's goals by providing financial support aligned to the company's strategy.
Reporting to the Finance Manager the ideal candidate must have at least 3 years post-graduation experience in finance within the motor industry.
Preparation of monthly/quarterly management accounts
Preparation of monthly balance sheet reconciliations for SAVM
Posting of cashbook, creditors and debtors' transactions to general ledger
Processing of month end journals
maintenance of fixed assets registers
Preparation of Hyperion pack for SAVM
Preparation of monthly VAT schedules
Assist with budget and forecast processes.
Preparation of monthly departmental accounts
Assist with Income tax pack and queries from Head Office
Assist with internal and external audits.
EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS & EXPERIENCE:
B. Com. degree with Accounting major or similar
Minimum 3 years post-graduation experience in finance
Financial Services/Insurance Background advantageous
Advanced Microsoft Excel skills compulsory
Kerridge experience will be beneficial.
