, a CYCC in Stellenbosch is looking to appoint a qualified andRegistered Social Auxiliary Worker
with the South African Counsel for Social Service Professionals. The successful candidate will be part of a multidisciplinary team providing a social work service with regard to the care, support, protection and development of vulnerable individuals through relevant programmes.The following are requirements for the post:
Registration with the SACSSP & proof of payment of annual fee
Police and child protection register clearance
Good planning and administration skills
Ability to work with diverse team of professionals
Co-ordinate group work programs
Good written and communication (verbal) skills in Afrikaans and English
Excellent knowledge of the new Child Care Act
Must have a valid driver's license; PDP would be an advantage
Computer literate
Previous Experience in community work would be an advantage
Minimum experience in field work, 3 years
