The Case Administrator will implement the Disability Inclusion intervention with the Support and Supervision of the Social Auxiliary Worker.

Responsibilities

Client Services:



Ensure 100% screening and intake of all Disability Inclusion beneficiaries. Conducting one-on-one interventions for all Disability Inclusion registered beneficiaries Ensuring that all learners with developmental delays from the core programs are all captured under the red flagged for developmental delays.

Client Support:



Conducting both internal and external referral services for young people with disability to relevant stakeholders. Support Caregiver for their micro business. Conduct Disability Sensitization Talks/Workshops. Supporting beneficiaries during the dance classes, health and fitness sessions.

Facilitation:



Small group interventions for all flagged young people from Bambanani. Conduct Support Group for young people with disability. Conduct stimulation session with disabled beneficiaries Co-facilitate training that the Social Auxiliary Worker conducts, be part of, and support the events that the Disability Inclusion and Afrika Tikkun organize at large.

Administration:



Compile all registers relevant to your intentions. Compile Weekly highlights Compile weekly plan Complete and compile 100% vocational profiling for all youth with disability (18 - 35 old)

Requirements

Qualification and Experience:



Matric (Grade 12) Child and youth care worker (CYCW) Certificate or Social Auxiliary Worker Certificate Experience working with children with disabilities (a caregiver of a child with a disability, or a person with a disability is an added advantage) Experience working with communities

Required Skills:



Computer Literate Good written and verbal communication. Ability to work under pressure. Multi task. Prioritize workload. Meet deadlines. Good attention to detail. Ability to work independently. Accountability. Fluent in at least two languages.

Behavioural Competencies:



Passion for community work and love for children. Time Management. Relationship Building. Professional Conduct. Public Speaking. Presentation skill. Ability to function in challenging multi-faceted NGO environment.
