Role purpose

The Senior Specialist - National Facilities & Fleet Management role is a hands-on management role that defines scope of work, implements projects delivery, and manages facilities activities related to the end-to-end Facilities & Fleet Management for the TowerCo organization.
Responsible for TowerCo's fleet which includes serving as the primary contact concerning all TowerCo fleet and operations.
Develops and administers vehicle/equipment asset management processes from procurement to disposition
Responsible for planning, directing, managing, coordinating and supervising the programs for acquisition, assignment, utilization, maintenance, repair, replacement and disposal of fleet vehicles and/or outsource these operations and manage the business partner via agreed SLA
Ownership and ongoing Property Management of all Lease Agreements relating to new, renewed, relocated, extended, terminated and legal related matters to commercial offices and warehouses.
Management of design, construction and general maintenance of commercial offices and warehouses set against the company budget. This includes building and associated services such as infrastructure, maintenance, cleaning, energy and utilities.
Implement effective project management capabilities, site supervision standards and ongoing coordination of contractors and consultants.
To be responsible for the management of technical services, maintenance, property, lease management and real estate processes that supports the core business of TowerCo. This is done by ensuring that TowerCo has the most suitable working environment for its employees and their activities.
To be involved in both strategic planning and day-to-day operations, particularly in relation to buildings and premises. Key support function for the entire business operations.
Thorough knowledge of facilities & fleet management - PPM's, maintenance programs and procedures.

Your responsibilities will include

Develop National Facilities and Fleet Management supported by fit for purpose policies and procedures
Execute on signed off road map
Operational planning for the Real Estate Portfolio within TowerCo
Prepare tender documentation for technical projects.
Project management, supervising and coordinating of contractors.
Create vehicle purchase specifications and purchase vehicles for specific business units
Establish and monitor purchasing, operational and replacement strategies, and practices for most cost-effective operation
Contractual, commercial, and budget management
Environmental Champion driving GREEN & ENERGY building initiatives
Benchmarking industry cost of services to achieve maximum value for money for facilities and fleet
Planning and organizing future developments in line with strategic business objectives;
Managing and leading change to ensure minimum disruption to core activities;
Liaising with tenants of commercial properties;
Directing and planning essential central services related to building maintenance
Ensure building compliancy to municipal regulations and Health & Safety
Contractor management and SLA benchmarking and following up on any deficiencies
Responding appropriately to emergencies and urgent projects as they arise.

he ideal candidate for this role will have

Technical / Professional Qualifications:

Relevant 3-4-year qualification is essential
Proven track record of facilities and fleet management
Experience in creating and establishing facilities policies and procedures is essential
Experience in creating and establishing fleet policies and procedures from vehicle assignment to replacement, accident reporting is essential
Experience in pricing, spec & purchase or lease vehicles
