Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Manager for Paid Advertising and Marketing to join our dynamic team at a leading insurance group in Johannesburg. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing and executing the company's mass media advertising campaigns, including radio, television, and billboards. Additionally, this role involves managing the marketing team to ensure the successful implementation of strategic marketing initiatives.
Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement comprehensive mass media advertising strategies that align with the company's marketing objectives.
• Manage and optimize advertising campaigns across various channels, including radio, television, and billboards.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to create compelling and effective advertising content.
• Monitor and analyze campaign performance metrics to make data-driven decisions and improvements.
• Lead the marketing team by providing guidance, coaching, and performance feedback.
• Drive creative development and ensure consistent branding and messaging across all campaigns.
• Stay up-to-date with industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in advertising and marketing.
• Manage budgets, allocate resources effectively, and ensure adherence to financial targets.
• Build strong relationships with media partners and negotiate favorable terms and pricing.

Qualifications and Skills:

• Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field; Master's degree is a plus.
• Minimum of 7 years of experience in marketing with a focus on mass media advertising.
• Proven track record of successful mass media campaign management.
• Strong leadership and team management skills.
• Excellent analytical abilities and proficiency in data-driven decision-making.
• Exceptional communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
• Familiarity with advertising technologies, platforms, and tools.
• Strategic thinker with the ability to develop innovative marketing solutions.
