Minimum Requirements:

Education / Qualifications:

Matric certificate (Grade 12) NQF Level 6 Engineering Certificate Advantageous: Supervisory certificate or equivalent, Risk Assessment Training Certificate, Safety OHS Training Certificate, Basic Contract Management, NEC3 TSC Contract Management Competency

Experience:

Minimum 5 years related experience as a Supervisor or Manager (optional but preferred)

Key Responsibilities:

The Site Manager will report directly to the Employer's representative daily and will be responsible for the following:

Deliver contract management controls, planning, and administrative services. Manage and report on contract management services, ensuring accurate information in the designated system. Conduct contract management analysis and provide regular reports. Manage and resolve contract disputes, adjudications, arbitrations, and legal proceedings. Organize and chair statutory and ad hoc meetings on-site. Chair and conduct work stoppages, monthly safety meetings, work team meetings, and maintain signed attendance registers. Ensure monthly assessments are completed on the 25th of every month (or the following Monday if it falls on a weekend) with original signed proof of all activities conducted. Ensure all statutory requirements are up-to-date. Compile and manage contract objectives and targets as per Environmental Management Commission (EMC) directives. Manage team performance, skills development, knowledge, and capabilities. Ensure compliance with Eskom and site governance and Safety, Health, Environment, Risk, and Quality (SHERQ) requirements. Attend Power Station production meetings and provide immediate feedback to the Service Manager during daily feedback sessions.
